Recent Flooding at Bob Lutts Park

We knew that a lot of rain had fallen in the past week that had lead to recent flooding, so we wanted to leave our inspection to as late as possible. Unfortunately, when I went to the field, the recent flooding was obvious and worse than in previous times.

Due to this fact, Britannia Soccer Academy is canceling Player Development Academy sessions on Saturday, 4th June 2016 and Small Group OPTP Sessions on Sunday, 5th June 2016 because the field is unplayable.

Looking ahead, we hope that the rain passes from the field and starts to dry out. recent flooding 1 We know that the recent flooding has affected many areas of Houston, and we hope that everyone is safe and well from the rising waters and heavy rain. We were hoping to introduce our Summer Schedule for the Player Development Academy on Saturday, 4th June 2016 but we will be starting this after our annual vacation on Saturday, 18th June 2016.

We hope that during the time we are not using the field that it will dry out and be back to normal on Saturday, 18th June 2016 along with the rest of Houston and the other parts affected by the recent flooding.

Everyone at Britannia Soccer Academy understands that the field is not the only place that has flooded or had damage due to the extreme weather. We hope that you have not been affected badly and that everything can return to normal as soon as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience, but like we all know, we cannot control the unusual and devastating Texas weather.

We are looking forward to the return of beautiful blue skies and blistering sunshine. If you have any questions about our new start times on Saturday, 18th June 2016, then please contact us either by email at info@britanniasocceracademy.com or phone at (281) 802-4484.
